cell phone pics 2009

I made a post like this back in June when I got my first new phone in several years. However, I've since fallen in love with the new camera and wanted to share some pics now—I don't want to just wait until it breaks.

The nicest thing about this camera is its default vertical orientation. It was a challenge at first.. and I've kind of had this theory about male and female photographers and vertical vs horizontal images for awhile. Thank you phone for opening up my field of vision!


Anyway, though—goodbye 2009!

Light Vision Coney Island Holiday

The San Francisco based Light Vision Store recently moved to Brooklyn and I was asked to shot their Holiday 2009/2010 Lookbook in Coney Island. Photos from the shoot are now online here.

Krista and the other ladies of Light Vision are awesome--and so are the clothes. I definitely felt the envy from the other people (mostly old Russian ladies) who were also brave enough to be out on the beach when we were doing the shoot!

I logged into my web host recently and found out that Paperheart was first bought on December 14, 2001. That means this website is 8 years old as of today.

It also happens to be the birthday of these two lovely men: Jordi and Milan.
