KRETS

I am in a group drawing show opening this weekend entitled RETURN TO SENDER at KRETS gallery in Malmö. The opening is this Saturday from 1-4pm. The show consists of drawings on tiny sheets of paper that the gallery sent out to a bunch of artists earlier this year. Its a really nice space and I hear from my cool friends that they are doing a lot of awesome stuff (shows, workshops, etc). You should check it out if you are in the Malmö/Copenhagen area.

Also.. I am going to be having a solo photography show there in October! It is as of yet unnamed but once everything is set I'll post something here. I'm not sure if I'm coming out yet for it, but I miss Sweden and will try my hardest to make it there.

Images of California and Scandinavia, two places I love and hope to live (again) in my life. Right now I'm just stuck in the middle..

Advice

Back in the 1950s and 60s my grandparents owned a small grocery store in Houston. My sister found these awhile ago packed away in a drawer in their house. They are from a collection of about two dozen cards that came in bulk Jolly Rancher boxes of that era. All of them have these crazy inspirational messages and beautiful type.
