My Calendar

It sort of works the same way as a sketchbook or those pieces of art that one would find at the recent Documenta, New Museum, and Whitney shows of collected images and objects pinned on a wall or structure. However, instead of creating an aesthetic array of images on a single plane, I am going to put them one on top of the other one-a-day until my thesis show and display it on the wall as such. In the end it will just be this thick jumble of all different sorts of papers and photographs; impossible to see at once, but still physically substantial enough to stand in for the mass of ideas and images.
Its only the third day since I've started this so all its not much yet--but it has a good foundation, so I'm not worried.

Great idea!
good idea!i may do this as a personal project.
See, that's the problem with putting your ideas online. All sorts of "anonymous" folks borrow your ideas to make "personal projects".
Or you may open yourself up to criticisms you didn't want to hear yet.
Anon #2: Ideas are stolen all the time and online criticism is almost always petty and useless anyway especially when given unsolicited..
have you seen manuel raeder's loose leaf calendar?
martine: no i had not, thanks!
